Part 141 incorporates the construction, equipment and operational standards for ships certified to carry noxious liquid substances in bulk found in the International Maritime Organisation's International Code for the Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Dangerous Chemicals in Bulk.
Part 141 gives effect to Regulations 11 and 12 of Annex II of MARPOL 73/78.
